Community Services
celebrates 40 years!
Community Services, Inc. held their open house on Friday,
August 20th, 2004 from 11-2 in honor of 40 years of helping people and changing
lives in our community.
CSI's open house provided the community with the ability to
visit our office, take a tour, and learn about what we provide for low-income
individuals and families in the area. Community Services Inc. provides
programs and services including employment and training with the Missouri
Career Center, Head Start, Housing and Urban Development (HUD),
Weatherization, energy assistance, volunteer income tax assistance, life
skills workshops, emergency assistance, the commodity food pantry, the back to
school fair, the IDA program and much more.
We would like to thank the local businesses, board members,
clients, legislators, individuals and families who helped to make our 40th
anniversary a memorable one.
Community Services, Inc. is a non-profit organization that
operates in five counties including Atchison, Gentry, Holt, Nodaway and
Worth.
