Community Services hosts workday at Habitat Site
On Saturday, June 12th, 2004, Community Services, Inc. volunteered to help build on the Habitat home in Hopkins, Missouri. This marked the very first building day for Habitat for Humanity of Nodaway County. This will be the first home built since the organization was formed. They plan to build at least one house a year, if not two or more, for many years to come. Many of the CSI employees who volunteered included Kris and Mike Marion, Jodi Allen, Roberta Kimble and Julie Ervin. Hy-Vee was very generous in providing lunch for the first building day. More groups are scheduled to finish the construction of the home. If your group is interested, please call 660-582-2530 or visit us online at www.nodawayhabitat.org.
We would like to thank everyone who helped support Habitat for Humanity of Nodaway County either by building, serving on committee, helping us raise money, buying a t-shirt, making a donation, etc. Your generosity is greatly appreciated!! God Bless.
Below you will see pictures of Jodi Allen and Roberta Kimble busy at work on the Habitat home.
